Rock Pets

Not every parent wants the expense or hassle of a real pet so these cute little rock pets should keep the kids amused for a while atleast! They are great for travel as they fit in the kids pockets too.

What you will need

Smooth rocks/pebbles
White paint
Stickers, goggily eyes, paint, glue etc to decorate them.

How to make them

1) We used pebbles that were already white from the local garden centre but you can always find some from your own garden and paint them white beforehand as the base colour.

2) Decorate the rock as your favourite bug or animal.

3) Leave them for a few hours for the paint and glue to dry completely and then the kids can play with them. You can even make them some mini homes out of old boxes for them too.

The Mini Mes have decided to keep theirs on the window to display hence all the glitter!
