The Mini Mes were eager to support both Greece and England in the football this year after a fantastic family holiday in Kefalonia, and for the very first match we decided to have a pizza party!
I think it's great that they both enjoy watching and participating in sports and this was the perfect opportunity to have some time together too. We were supplied with bunting featuring all of the countries involved, football themed plates, serviettes and of course that very important voucher to purchase some delicious food from Domino's.
Domino's have launched a limited edition Carnivale range of pizzas and sides to celebrate the current football events so we decided to give them a go alongside our usual order... we do love pizza! The new range is
inspired by South America and it can bring Latin flavours into your home if you couldn't make a trip to Rio this June and July.

Ordering on my mobile I used the app to check the progress of my delivery and it arrived hot and fresh as always in no time at all. We laid out our tablecloth in the lounge and had a great indoor picnic while watching the match.
We had:
A medium Fiesta pizza
(Chicken breast strips, red onions, green & red peppers, seasoned with a fajita spice, with a drizzle of Mojito style dressing).
A medium Rio pizza
(Pulled Barbacoa beef, chipotle sauce, red onions, green & red peppers).
Nachos
(With tomato sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese, served with a tangy salsa dip)
Fajita Wedges
(Potato wedges baked with Fajita seasoning, served with a tangy salsa dip)
Everything was packed with flavour and was enjoyed by us all. The nachos however were a little overdone around the edges but the quantity of cheese on top certainly made up for that and they were lovely and crisp. The leftovers were reheated the following day for brunch as there was no way we were throwing things away when it tasted so good.
We also indulged with some warm cookies and ice cream for dessert!
