Certain scents always remind me of summer; freshly cut grass, BBQs and of course juicy fruit. Having your favourite aromas all year round would be lovely and I've discovered with Yankee Candle you can! Their beautifully fragranced candles for your home can provide a little bit of the season, every day.
This Juicy Watermelon candle has a deliciously fruity smell and it will burn for between 110-150 hours. It has a retail price of £19.99 which I feel is good value especially considering the quality of the product and the life span of the candle. If you lit it for an hour a day that's around 4-5 months supply!
The scent really reminds me of gathering on the patio for breakfast al fresco, the sunshine beaming down while we enjoy breakfast, days at the beach and picnics at the park with friends. Great summer memories which I can remember while snuggled up indoors this Autumn.
I really like the glass jar style, identical to others from the range and with a scent that is mild yet really sweet it was an instant hit for me. At 623g it is large in size and will certainly last some time. I've had it lit for a few evenings already and it hides any smells left from dinner and really freshens the air without being heady.
I was a little disappointed to see that there aren't the smaller jars, tarts or sampler votive candles of this particular scent available as I love it so much but that's understandable as it is only making a special appearance alongside Coconut Bay, Orange Dreamsicle and Sea Coral.
It's therefore a good idea to snap yours up before they all go!
