When the colder weather draws in and the evenings are spent wrapped up in blankets while sipping hot chocolates overflowing with marshmallows, I love to light a few scented candles. It helps to create a cosy atmosphere while providing a warming scent and this lovely selection from Partylite is ideal for Halloween!
I'd not tried the Partylite range until I was sent this collection but I'd certainly purchase them in the near future as I was really quite impressed with the quality in both design and fragrance, even in comparison to the great brands I predominantly use. This range is based upon Mexico's Day of the Dead and it features lots of neon brights and skulls - perfect for when it gets dark earlier throughout autumn and winter.
The large GloLite Jar Candle in Hocus Pocus had a mild citrus scent and was probably my favourite. It had a double wick for ultimate brightness and a burn time of around 50-60 hours so it certainly lasts some time for the £21.50 fee. The candle is yellow and very vibrant, near glow in the dark!
The colour-changing base requires 3 AAA batteries, which weren't supplied, and it loops several different shades over a period of just a few seconds when switched on. It illuminates the candle situated on top which is really effective at night!
The Pair of skeleton dance votive holders are £19.95 and although sprayed black, light still pours from the face when a candle inside is lit. They are made from glass and are an item that can be used time and time again to display candles safely. They too are perfect for the season and provide a spooky look for any mantelpiece or windowsill, especially when those trick or treaters come knocking.
For your chance to win a bundle of Halloween candles from Partylite you can enter via the Gleam entry form below.
The giveaway ends at 11.59pm GMT on 26th October 2015.
Leaving a comment is mandatory but there are additional entry methods available also.
